Recital “Art of Silence” in Gesellschaft für Musiktheater Vienna

Jui-Lan Huang spielt gefühlvoll auf dem Klavier und bringt die Publikum auf eine Reise zur Innigkeit und Ursprung.

Inspired by the exceptional photographer Joe Haider, Jui-Lan presents her new recital “Art of Silence”, in which she leads the audience into a journey to the source of life, where all musicians find their way back to themselves. “Art of silence” is originally an art series of photography by Joe Haider, its subtle change of colours, shadow and light in scenery reminds the viewers exactly the same as many great composers did in their works. To transfer the variety of silence, Jui-Lan combines music pieces across all music epochs but leaves a continuous inner tenderness/strength to search the way of expression, to leave unsolved feeling for listeners in their own imagination.

Piano solo pieces from Christoph Willibald Gluck, Chi-Lien Hung, Franz Liszt, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert and Giovanni Sgambati.
